Recently, the 50MW/100MWh energy storage project in Hangzhou, has successfully been connected to the grid. As the first 110kV electrochemical energy storage project in the region, this milestone represents a significant advancement in the region's energy structure. 

With the rainy season in Hangzhou, there has been a remarkable increase in rainfall, accompanied by occasional severe weather events, including short-term heavy rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds. To address these challenges, Kehua has developed a 3.45MW PCS and MV transformer integrated solution for the project. Designed with a high protection level and a C5 anti-corrosion rating, this product operates reliably in high temperature and humidity conditions, effectively adapting to the changing climate in Hangzhou and beyond. 

Moreover, the Kehua solution supports 110% overload, high and low voltage ride-through, and various operating modes such as VSG, PQ, VF, and black start. It also facilitates peak shaving, demand response, backup power supply, and command response. The system can respond to grid dispatch on a millisecond level, offering a safe, efficient, and high-quality energy storage solution with a long lifecycle, thereby ensuring the stable operation of the power grid.

The project's operational scope includes capacity leasing, spot trading, ancillary services for peak shaving and valley filling, and assistance with frequency regulation, delivering substantial benefits to the local power grid.
